Infantry Day marks the first military operation of Independent India to protect Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistani forces. It is celebrated to commemorate the arrival of the Indian Army at Budgam airfield on October 27, 1947.

The social caste list was redrawn in response to the recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Commission, which the J&K Government established in 2020.

The letter claimed the attacks would be carried out on October 25 and 27. Authorities in Uttarakhand have received similar threat letters in the past but for the first time a case has been registered in this connection, the official said, adding it is being ascertained whether the threat is real or just a hoax.

According to reports, Zoom was tasked with clearing the house where terrorists were hiding. Zoom went inside the house and attacked the militants. During the operation, the Army canine was shot twice and suffered critical injuries.
