On June 2, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. A joint cordon and search operation was launched by the army and police after noticing suspicious movement in the forest area of Dassal Gujran near Rajouri.

This is the third big accident in Jammu and Kashmir this month. On May 24, seven persons were killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle ferrying workers of a power project rolled down a hill in Kishtwar district.

The Indian Army's joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force saw troops tighten the cordon around the terrorists early this morning. At 0700 hours, the cordon spotted and pinned down the terrorists.

Two Army personnel were killed and four injured, including an officer, during an operation in the Rajouri Sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists are suspected to be trapped in the area, and additional teams have been sent.

An Indian Army chopper crashed near Machhna village in Marwah tehsil in Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place at around 9:45 AM. The chopper flew on a routine sortie from the Kishtwar helicopter towards Marwah.

According to reports, the questioning will be on the Reliance Insurance issue which was a scheme that RSS and BJP leader Ram Madhav allegedly pushed Malik to pass while he was the governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to initial investigation, it is emerging the terror strike may have been meticulously planned and executed.
