Last week, the Rajasthan High Court had rejected a petition seeking the quashing of an Enforcement Directorate investigation into the purchase of land in Bikaner by a company (Skylight Hospitality), linked to Vadra and his mother, through alleged shady means.

Uttar Pradesh minister Jitin Prasada, who recently switched to BJP from Congress, asked whether the remarks by Pandhi had "official sanction from the party".

The Congress leader offered rose petals at the memorial, named "Sadaiv Atal", and joined hands in tribute, becoming the first person from the Gandhi family to visit the memorial since the former Prime Minister passed away in 2018.

During his speech at Red Fort, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, "It's not Narendra Modi's government. It's Ambani and Adani government. Hindu-Muslim is being done to divert attention from the real issues. Youths with degrees are seeling pakoras."

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Many joined the foot march led by Rahul Gandhi as it arrived in Delhi this morning. Senior Congress leaders walked alongside Rahul Gandhi in the national capital, including Sonia Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera, Randeep Surjewala, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, and Kumari Selja.

"Makkal Needhi Maiam (MKM) party president Kamal Haasan, senior Congress leaders and parliamentarians, and families of freedom fighters are expected to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Delhi," according to a party source.

Notably, there was a "political crisis" in the party-ruled state during the Congress Presidential Election when there was a race between Gehlot and Pilot for the post of Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi said, "The fight is not new, don't think that this struggle is of today, of the 21st century, this fight is thousands of years old and in two ideologies fight and have been fighting."

Mandaviya said three MPs from Rajasthan have flagged concerns and requested him that Covid protocols, including use of masks and sanitisers, be strictly followed during the march and only those who are vaccinated be allowed to participate.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, "Rajasthan's Congress government's big announcement to give gas cylinders for 500 - less than half the price of the central government. Prime Minister, stop feeding sweets to 'friends', serve the people suffering from inflation."
