Two Sikh men, reportedly belonging to the pro-Khalistani Sikhs for Justice outfit, heckled the former Congress party president and raised slogans. The protesters accused Rahul of belonging to the party that was a trader of the 1984 genocide.

Addressing an event in Santa Clara in the United States, Rahul Gandhi took a dig at PM Modi, describing him as a "specimen" who could start explaining to God how the universe worked.

Interacting with a gathering of Indian diaspora in Santa Clara, California, Rahul Gandhi said India is not what is being shown in the media which likes to promote a political narrative that is far from reality, asserting that there is a "huge distortion".

Rahul Gandhi met and conversed with a group of truck drivers at a dhaba in Murthal on NH-44. From there, he travelled on a truck to Chandigarh while en route to Shimla, as confirmed by the party.

In the recently-held Karnataka elections, the Congress bagged 136 seats off 224 while the BJP and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda-led Janata Dal (Secular) secured 66 and 19, respectively.

The supporters of Jayachandra staged a protest outside CM Siddaramaiah's house alleging that a "grave injustice" has been meted out to the Kunchitiga community as no representation was given to them.

In addition to Congress Chief, Rajasthan CM and Pilot, party leader Rahul Gandhi is also part of the meeting. The chief minister's office has also released Gehlot's programme confirming his visit to Delhi, where he will also lay the foundation stone of the Rajasthan House.

The disqualified Congress MP is set to travel to San Francisco in the United States on Monday evening where he will start his three-city tour. He had applied for an ordinary passport after surrendering the old diplomatic passport issued to him when he was a member of parliament.
