The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has strongly condemned the references to Jammu and Kashmir in the recent joint statement issued by China and Pakistan.

PM Modi chaired review meeting on the situation in J&K with NSA and other officials. He asked them to deploy the full spectrum of our counter-terror capabilities. He also spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed deploying security forces and counter-terror operations.

Following the encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua, security forces recovered a substantial array of weaponry and supplies from the terrorists, which included Pakistan-made eatables and medicines.

In three days, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed its third terrorist incident as militants attacked an Army post in Doda. The attack triggered a gunfight between terrorists and security forces, resulting in multiple injuries.

It is reportedly said that residents of Saida Sukhal village heard gunshots and alerted authorities after spotting two to three gunmen in the vicinity. The attackers allegedly fired shots before fleeing into nearby forests.

Bollywood stars expressed grief over a tragic incident in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, where a bus carrying pilgrims to Shiv Khori temple fell into a gorge after a suspected terror attack, killing nine and injuring 33. Riteish Deshmukh, Kangana Ranaut, and Anupam Kher condemned the attack and offered prayers for the victims and their families

Authorities, including police teams and fire tenders, responded swiftly to the emergency, but despite their efforts, the temple was reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with officials working to determine the origin of the blaze.

The house in Nihama in Pulwama district where terrorists engaged in a gun battle with the security forces on Monday (June 03) caught fire. The top two LeT commanders are believed to be trapped in the house. The encounter broke out early Monday morning.

The bus, which was transporting pilgrims from the Kurukshetra area of Haryana to the Shiv Khori shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, rolled approximately 150 feet down into the gorge.
