Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled the Lok Kalyan Sankalpa Patra 2022 ahead of the UP election 2022, reviewing the promises delivered by the 'double-engine' BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.

Shah said, on the grounds of early inputs from central security agencies, the Central government provided Owaisi the Z security.

Taking a sly dig at the Opposition, Shah said when he was made the BJP in charge of the state in 2013; then journalists used to say that he was being sent to a place where the party would perhaps not touch even double digits in elections. However, it was the opposition that did not touch double digits.

Along with Shah, Adityanath will be accompanied by Uttar Pradesh BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh and Nishad Party chief Sanjay Nishad when he files his nomination papers.

Shah said that there had been a reduction in rape by 30 per cent and 35 per cent in kidnapping under the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.

Jayant Chaudhary alleged that Amit Shah called one of his party members to join the BJP and said, "I will make you Hema Malini if you join."

Shah said that if the Samajwadi Party formed the government this time, Azam Khan would be part of the Cabinet, and RLD president Jayant Chaudhary would be out.

Amit Shah also said we had pulled Uttar Pardesh away from'parivaar-vaad' (dynastic rule) and 'jaati-vaad' (casteism) and has focused on development, which is visible.
