In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assaults on former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Rahul Gandhi stated that his grandpa did not require a certificate. "He (Prime Minister Modi during his speech in Parliament) did not respond to my queries," said Rahul Gandhi.

A new solution is reportedly being toyed with -- a two-and-a-half-year chief ministerial tenure for each.

Taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi wrote: “By letting students’ hijab come in the way of their education, we are robbing the future of the daughters of India. Ma Saraswati gives knowledge to all. She doesn’t differentiate."

Rahul Gandhi's visit is being seen as a campaign strategy to boost the morale of the party members and workers in the state ahead of the assembly election.
