The Congress Working Committee met on Sunday to discuss the party's poor performance in the recently-concluded five-state assembly elections.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) office. While Congress G-23 leaders, who are members of the Congress Working Committee, are expected to press for party changes during the CWC meeting, sources said on Friday.

"We battled as hard as we could. We'll have to wait and watch what happens," added Vadra, who was heavily involved in the Uttar Pradesh elections.

Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has made a concerted effort to make people dependent on its schemes, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra told Asianet Newsable in an exclusive interview.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, Adityanath stated, "The Gandhi siblings (Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra) are enough to bring the Congress to its knees. Nobody else is required for that."

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra endorses that women have the liberty to wear what they want, but her own party leaders seem to have an entirely different yet regressive view on the matter.

"I am willing to give my life for my brother (Rahul Gandhi), and he is willing to do the same for me. There is division in the BJP, but not in the Congress," Priyanka Gandhi stated.
