The grand old party has been humiliated by Hathras rape victim family even though Congress successfully persuaded Unnao rape victim's mother Asha Singh to run its campaign.

Priyanka's visit to Raebareli comes a day after she and Rahul Gandhi visited Amethi, the Lok Sabha constituency that the latter lost to the BJP's Smriti Irani in the 2019 general elections.

Priyanka's post comes after Kumar apologised on the floor of the Karnataka Assembly on Friday for his statement.

The 'padyatra' will be conducted from Jagdishpur in Amethi district to Harimau in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to speak at a public gathering and connect with a few organisations.
