The Delhi Police reportedly deferred their visit to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Thursday to interrogate his parents regarding the AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal 'assault' case.

According to Bar and Bench, on May 15, Justice Sanjeev Narula issued an interim order directing the removal of a few pornographic links that used the actor's identity.

A bench led by Justice BR Gavai delivered the verdict while hearing the woman's plea, which contested the Delhi High Court's ruling on May 3, rejecting her request for pregnancy termination.

The Enforcement Directorate is looking into the money laundering aspect of the alleged scheme, and the action comes only days after the Supreme Court granted Kejriwal interim bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections.

WhatsApp won't stay if it is made to break encryption of messages, the messaging service platform has told Delhi High Court in a case challenging the amended IT rules. WhatsApp and Facebook (now Meta) have challenged Rule 4(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

The bench, led by the Acting Chief Justice of Delhi, clarified that it lacks the authority to grant extraordinary interim bail to a high-ranking official facing ongoing criminal charges. The court highlighted that Kejriwal is currently in custody based on judicial orders, with any legal challenge being addressed by the Supreme Court.

Earlier, the Delhi High Court had upheld Kejriwal's arrest on April 9, saying that the ED had limited recourse after the AAP leader repeatedly ignored summons and declined to participate in the investigation.
