Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been accused of sexually exploiting women wrestlers for years, a charge vehemently rejected by the sports administrator.

Vignesh, a three-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, is one of India's most decorated women wrestlers, accused her federation chief and several coaches of sexually harassing multiple athletes.

In a startling revelation, Vinesh Phogat on Wednesday alleged that WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had been sexually exploiting women wrestlers for many years, a charge vehemently rejected by the sports administrator and BJP MP.

Meanwhile,Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist Bajrang Punia stated that Indian wrestlers will not compete in any international competition until WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is removed.

Bajrang Punia won a bronze at the World Wrestling Championships 2022 by defeating Sebastian C Rivera of Puerto Rico 11-9. He has become the first Indian to win four medals at the event.

Indian wrestlers put on a terrific show in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, more medals are on the way as a result.

The 28-year-old Bajrang, who won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics Games, finds no merit in harping and fretting over past mistakes.

Brij Bhushan Singh, who is under pressure to resign from his position over allegations of sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, said he will "expose" the "political conspiracy" on Friday in a press conference.
