WhatsApp working on a new security feature named "login approval". This feature will protect user accounts. Once the feature is released, WhatsApp users can receive in-app alerts if someone else tries to log into their accounts.

WhatsApp already has one layer for security with the Linked Devices feature but now it wants to add another dimension for the web users. So, in order to keep your messages away from prying eyes, WhatsApp on the web could soon have a screen lock feature that ensures all your content is stored behind a password.

An indication at the bottom of the group call is one of the characteristics. It notifies all participants when a new person has entered the group call. Users who have installed the most recent version of the app will have access to these features.

Meta Pay will continue to perform everything that Facebook Pay does, including transferring money to pals on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It will also be useful for charity donations.

"A new approach to keep the conversations that are most important to you. You may now transfer your whole conversation history from Android to iOS and vice versa. You may now freely switch between your chosen gadgets," the corporation announced the news on Twitter.

WhatsApp will allow users to share their status updates to Facebook stories without leaving the app. The new feature will make it easier for users to share their status updates on both platforms without having to manually share them.

WhatsApp has started testing picture-in-picture mode for video calls for iOS-enabled iPhones. The feature will allow iPhone users to use other apps while staying on a WhatsApp video call. The feature is available in beta version for iOS right now and will be soon made public.
