Singh arrived in Vientiane, Lao PDR for a three-day visit, to take part in the 11thASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus. The last time Rajnath Singh met his Chinese counterpart Admiral Dong Jun in Delhi during Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting.

On the sidelines of 11th ADMM-Plus meeting, he is expected to hold bilateral meetings with participating counterparts from Australia, China, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Republic of Korea and USA.

The Indian Air Force car rally from Siachen glacier reached Jaswant Garh in Arunachal Pradesh, paying tribute to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat. The rally aims to inspire youth to join the armed forces and will conclude in Tawang with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

His presence in Tawang is also coincided with the flagging-in ceremony of the Indian Air Force — Uttarakhand War Memorial car rally at Tawang on October 30, in the presence of Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu and deputy chief minister Chowna Mein.

At the ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath met and greeted Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, as well as other dignitaries, including Chief Ministers from various states. He also acknowledged the presence of the public, waving to the crowd.

Nayab Singh Saini has been unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP legislature party in Haryana, paving the way for his second term as Chief Minister.

He was at Sukna to dedicate Border Road Organisation-built border infrastructure projects to the nation. He celebrated Vijaya Dashmi with the soldiers of Indian Army and also performed the traditional Shastra Pooja at the Sukna Military Station in West Bengal.

In his address, Rajnath Singh stated that these projects are a testament to the government’s unwavering resolve to keep strengthening the border infrastructure and ensuring socio-economic progress of these areas.
