The Congress party is protesting on the streets of Delhi for the third day in a row today as the Enforcement Directorate interrogates former party president Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case.

In the last couple of days, the former Congress party president has already been questioned for a total of 21 hours.

Sources claimed that the Enforcement Directorate was not satisfied with the answers provided by the Wayanad MP.

Congress party's chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala alleged that the Modi government had crossed "every limit of barbarism".

As Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeared before the ED for interrogation in a money laundering case, party leaders were detained forbreaking prohibitory orders. Several videos were shared by the Congress party, showing detained leaders singing 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram' in the police station.

Details are emerging with regard to the line of questioning that the Congress leader is facing during his questioning, which, according to reports, may go on for several hours.

The case pertains to Rajya Sabha MP and senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy's complaint that alleges that the Gandhis were involved in the money laundering.

The ED will document the Gandhi scion's testimony in accordance with the penal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The investigation is on suspected financial irregularities at the Congress-backed Young Indian, which owns the National Herald newspaper.

Chaotic scenes were reported in the streets leading to the investigative agency's office when Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by sister and Congress national secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, made his way amid anti-government chanting from party activists.
