Banks in several states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, and West Bengal, will observe a four-day holiday for Chhath Puja 2024. This closure will impact banking operations, making advance planning crucial for customers.

In his address, CM Yogi criticized the Congress-RJD-JMM alliance, voicing concerns about the current state of Jharkhand. With 288 members, the Maharashtra Assembly is nearing the end of its tenure in November 2024, while the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly's term will conclude on January 5, 2025.
