Two key NDA allies, Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Nitish Kumar of the Janata Dal (United) (JDU), hold massive influence over the formation of the next government.

Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party has shown a remarkable resurgence in Andhra Pradesh, leading in 16 Lok Sabha and 130 assembly seats. This success positions Naidu as a pivotal figure in state and national politics, potentially leading to his return as CM. His party's performance also holds significance in the broader political landscape, especially in light of BJP's electoral prospects.

Andhra Pradesh's fiercely contested 2024 Assembly elections saw a voter turnout of 81.86%. Exit polls, released after the final phase of Lok Sabha voting, predict varied outcomes. TV9 suggests YSRCP winning 13 seats, while ABP-CVOTER and India TV-CNX predict an NDA (TDP-Jana Sena-BJP) win with up to 25 and 23 seats, respectively. Results are eagerly awaited on June 4.

As the nomination process unfolds, the assets declared by these leaders and their family members have sparked discussions across the state.

The combined assets of TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and his wife now stand at a staggering Rs 931 crore, marking a significant 39 per cent surge since the last five years.The former Chief Minister's wife also possesses precious metals including gold, diamonds, and silver valued at Rs 3 crore.

The BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena have reportedly reached a seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly polls. The development was also confirmed by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

A potential alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and Jana Sena Party for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 seems imminent, with sources indicating that the deal is nearly finalized.

During the hearing, the court emphasized, "Taking into account the petitioner's documented health conditions, and without delving into the case's merits, this Court is inclined to provide interim bail specifically to facilitate the petitioner's essential medical evaluation."

Reports confirm that Chandrababu Naidu has encountered health challenges during his time in confinement, having reportedly lost five kilograms in weight. He is currently grappling with skin allergy and dehydration, further exacerbating the concerns of his family.

This political realignment comes at a time when the TDP chief, Chandrababu Naidu, has been facing legal troubles. He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on September 9 in connection with an alleged multi-crore skill development scam.
