The homes of two senior leaders of the Tejashwi Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) were raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the "land-for-jobs" case that alleges irregularities during Lalu Yadav's tenure as Railway minister in the UPA-I government.

Reacting to the CBI look out circular, Manish Sisodia took to Twitter and wrote: “What is this gimmick Modi ji…I am roaming freely in Delhi. Can't you find me? Please tell me where to come?”

The CBI has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against all accused named in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, including Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Sisodia is number one on a list of 15 accused named in the CBI's FIR on liquor policy violations.

Stating that he too could be arrested within two or three days and be incarcerated like his colleague, Manish Sisodia said that there is a conspiracy to ensure that work stops in the education and health sector. That's because -- Sisodia claimed -- the BJP wants to stop Arvind Kejriwal, whose work in the health and education sectors is being talked about across the world

Congress leaders Alka Lamba and Abhishek Dutt said that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia should resign. This comes a day after the CBI raided the minister's home for nearly 15 hours. The CBI seized Sisodia's computer, phone, and some documents.

Adding that he was not scared of the CBI and ED even during the first tenure as deputy CM, Yadav said that he has matured as a politician since his first stint as deputy CM in 2015-17.

Mondal, who skipped a meeting with CBI officers on Monday citing health reasons and went to a government hospital, will be summoned by the central agency's investigators on Wednesday.

Special Judge Vikas Dhull imposed a Rs 50 lakh fine on the convict in the case of acquiring disproportionate assets between 1993 and 2006.

The CBI also raided the official residence of Bihar's Opposition Leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav's son, Tejasvi Yadav, and other locations in Patna, Delhi, and Gopalganj.

The CBI had on Tuesday searched multiple premises of Karti Chidambaram. A CBI team also went to the official residence of Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP P Chidambaram in Delhi's Lodhi Estate.
