Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari revealed the first look of what is called a digitally camouflage uniform for the air force’s ground personnel. The IAF’s Garud Special Forces use camouflage uniforms akin to the army.

In a statement, the Indian Army said, "Two Indian Army personnel including a JCO lost their lives after the barrel of a T-90 tank burst during field firing exercise today in Babina Cantonment near Jhansi. The Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the incident."

With a flying radius of 1500 km without mid-air refuelling and a 450-km Extended Range variant of the BrahMos missile system, the IAF believes that the combination would be a deadly weapon package with strategic reach to hit targets at sea and land.

During this Indian Air Force Day parade, 44 fighter aircraft, 20 helicopters, seven transport aircraft and two vintage aircraft would take part in the aerial display.
