Ramayana Teaser: No Hanuman in First Glimpse? Here’s Why Sunny Deol Is Missing

Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Ramayana' has been a hot topic for a long time, and fans are eagerly waiting for it. The makers finally released the teaser on Hanuman Jayanti, and it's spreading like wildfire on social media. However, it also raised a big question: why was there no glimpse of Sunny Deol as Hanuman, especially when the teaser was released on Hanuman Jayanti?

According to reports, Sunny Deol is currently busy with other film shoots and still has to shoot many parts for 'Ramayana'. Sources say his role is much bigger in the second part of the franchise compared to the first.

Media reports suggest that Sunny Deol will have less screen time in the first part of 'Ramayana'. The story will reportedly focus more on Lord Ram's years in Ayodhya and his journey to becoming a warrior and king. Sunny Deol will start shooting for 'Ramayana Part 2' in April. He has already finished shooting his 15-minute cameo for the first part.

Namit Malhotra is producing the film, and Nitesh Tiwari is directing it. Sridhar Raghavan has adapted the screenplay. The film's music is by Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. Ravi Bansal and Ramsay Avery are leading the production design. Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary and Guy Norris are handling the action sequences.

Director Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' features a massive star cast. The film includes Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Yash, Sunny Deol, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, and Amitabh Bachchan. Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan, Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor, Sheeba Chaddha, Shobhana, and Mohit Raina will also be seen in key roles.

Producer Namit Malhotra's 'Ramayana' is being made in two parts. The first part will be released on Diwali this year. The second part is scheduled to hit theatres on Diwali 2027. Reports say there are plans to release the film in over 50 Indian and international languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and English.
