As over 250 daily Covid cases are being reported in Bengaluru from the last few days, with inflow of many people from neighbouring states Kerala and Maharashtra, the BBMP has imposed a night curfew to contain the spread. The night curfew will come into effect from 10 pm tonight and will be in place till 5 am.
In a big development in BBMP limits, the chief commissioner has stated that if passengers coming from Kerala and Maharashtra entered without the latest RT-PCR certificate, they will be forced into quarantine. The passengers will be given a choice to either quarantine at a Covid Care Centre or at hotels listed by the palike.
