Dismissing such criticism that despite the Centre now managing vaccination, there is a crunch, the health minister said that if there is any issue in any particular state, they need to better plan their drives.
India added 48,786 new cases of coronavirus taking the total tally to 3,04,11,634, while the national recovery rate improved to 96.97%, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.
To expand its mass vaccination program, the Indian government has now given clearance to Moderna vaccine thus providing a wider option for the public to choose between four vaccines. Earlier Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V were administered among the Indian population to contain the spread of Covid, now the Moderna vaccine will be added to that list.
