NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are no longer stuck in space, as they returned to Earth on Tuesday, marking the end of a saga that began with a troubled test flight more than nine months ago. Their SpaceX capsule splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico in the early evening, just hours after departing the International Space Station. The splashdown occurred off the coast of Tallahassee in the Florida Panhandle, bringing their unplanned journey to a close.
