Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, shared insights on India's semiconductor ambitions, global collaborations under the Trade and Tech Council (TTC) framework, scaling of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), and strategies around cybersecurity and AI safety.

He emphasised that generic rules and regulations can kill innovation, adding that the government want to promote AI and at the same time make it safe.
