Twitter officially ditched its iconic blue bird logo for a simple white X on a black background. The change is part of a wider rebranding effort under Elon Musk's ownership of the platform.

Elon Musk posted a photo of the company's headquarters adorned in the new logo - X. The photo of Twitter headquarters with the new logo was also posted by Linda Yaccarino, who took over as the company's CEO more than a month ago.

Twitter's iconic blue bird logo, a symbol of the platform for over a decade, is set to be replaced by an "X" logo, Elon Musk announced. The domain X dot com now redirects users to Twitter dot com. Musk mentioned that the new X logo will go live later today.

Twitter will impose daily message limits for unverified accounts to reduce spam in direct messages. Users without a blue tick on their profile will need to subscribe to Twitter Blue in order to send more messages.
