Ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi MP K Prabhakar Reddy was stabbed during a poll campaigning in Telangana's Siddipet district on Monday. The 57-year-old is a sitting Member of Parliament from Telangana's Medak constituency.

Notably, three of the candidates included in the BJP's list are sitting Members of Parliament (MPs). These MPs are former BJP president Bandi Sanjay, Soyam Bapu, and Arvind Dharmapuri. Soyam Bapu is set to enter the election fray from Boath, while Dharmapuri will contest from Korutla.

Raja Singh expressed his gratitude on Twitter, thanking the top leaders of the BJP at the national level for their support. The Telangana Assembly election is scheduled for November 30, with results expected on December 3.

KCR, who also leads the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), is optimistic about his party's performance in the upcoming assembly elections. He acknowledges the challenges posed by economic setbacks due to demonetization and the COVID-19 pandemic but emphasizes the need to continue the state's development and welfare programs.
