According to the premier investigating agency, the senior RJS leader spoke intimidatingly about its officers during a recent press conference. Special judge Geetanjali Goel served Yadav with a notice on the CBI's plea, and his response was requested.

Tejashwi Yadav's remarks come amid the opposition's efforts to unite ahead of the 2024 General Elections. Bihar Chief Minister C M Nitish Kumar stated during his visit to Delhi earlier this month that he met with Opposition leaders to unite and fight the saffron party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The homes of two senior leaders of the Tejashwi Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) were raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the "land-for-jobs" case that alleges irregularities during Lalu Yadav's tenure as Railway minister in the UPA-I government.
