The Indian electric scooter manufacturer - Ola Electric, has confirmed the release of its new MoveOS3 this Diwali, while a new affordable scooter could also be launched.The brand confirmed in a tweet that the new MoveOS3 for the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters will be rolled out this Diwali.

Ola Electric said their new electric vehicle will have a range of 500 kilometres and that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just four seconds. The car is scheduled for launch in 2024.

Ola electric scooter will be now sold in India in the newly added Khaki colour and the company has announced the new colour will be a limited edition with only 1947 models to be sold in India.

Ola Electric introduced a new electric scooter Ola S1 in India which is a more affordable option compared to the Ola S1 Pro. The new Ola S1 electric scooter comes with a 3kWh battery. It comes with an ARAI-certified range of 141 km.

Ola Electric is expected to make an important announcement today on August 15-- India's 76th independence day-- and this will likely be the company's new electric car.According to reports, the future Ola Electric vehicles might have a 500 km range on a single charge.

The company has dubbed the new model the "greenest EV" it has ever produced. CEO of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, teased the upcoming model in a video. The same teaser video was shared on the official company account.

"Our new trip request screen makes it simpler for drivers to evaluate if a trip is worth their time and effort by displaying all the details—including exactly how much they'll earn and where they're going—up front," Uber wrote in a blog post.

Ola co-founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said: "Absolute rubbish. We are very profitable and growing well. If some other companies want to exit their business from India they are welcome to! We will never merge."

"India is just as crucial to Uber now as it was nine years ago. We serve passengers and drivers in over 100 locations, are aggressively acquiring Indian talent, and are planning for the next decade and beyond," according to a business spokeswoman.

The consumer affairs ministry convened a conference after receiving concerns about cab aggregators, particularly Ola and Uber. The meeting comes in response to commuter concerns, including an increase in cab costs and cases where drivers refused to turn on the AC in the car, citing higher oil and gas prices.
