Over the past few decades, Earth's rotation around its axis which determines how long a day and there has been a steady increase in the length of days would be has been speeding up but the reason for it still remains a mystery.

The Space Launch System with the Orion spacecraft ad three dummies will be launched on September 27, instead of the proposed September 23. NASA has further delayed the launch of the Artemis-1 mission to the Moon as teams need rest and more time to conduct additional tests.

In announcing the delay, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson stated that Congress did not grant enough funding to construct a landing technology for the Artemis moon programme, and that additional funding is required for the Orion capsule.

It would be the third time NASA has attempted to send the Orion crew capsule, without any people aboard, in orbit around the moon, as part of a campaign, known as the Artemis program, to return astronauts to the lunar surface. Two previous launch efforts were postponed because of mechanical issues.

All good things come to an end, including NASA’s wildly successful Artemis 1 mission to the Moon and back. At least, it’s been successful so far, as Orion must still perform a harrowing reentry through Earth’s atmosphere. Here is when and where you can follow the action live.
