As per the available information, the mentioned incident occurred on June 30 in Warkhadi, situated in the Narwar region of Shivpuri. During the incident, two young men were subjected to a brutal assault, their faces were smeared with black substances, they were forced into consuming feces.

Following the widespread online circulation of a video depicting a disturbing act, Chief Minister Chouhan took decisive action by ordering a case to be registered against the accused youth under the National Security Act.

On Wednesday, Shukla was arrested after Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took cognizance of the incident and ordered his arrest under the stringent National Security Act (NSA). "We will not spare him at any cost," he said.
