Union Minister of Earth Sciences Kiren Rijijucited a report released by the Ministry of Earth Sciences in 2020 titled 'Assessment of Climate Change over the Indian Region' providing insights into the impact of climate change on the Indian subcontinent.

Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State, will replace Kiren Rijiju as Minister with Independent Charge of the Law Ministry.

Earlier, the Union minister had said that the Centre cannot be accused of 'sitting over recommendations' made by the Collegium and the judges' body cannot expect the government to simply sign off on all the recommendations made by it.
