According to a statement on Monday from the Judiciary's website, the individuals were reportedly recruited by Israel's Mossad, facilitated through the Kurdish group Komala, to carry out a bombing at the Defence Ministry facility in Najafabad, Isfahan, on July 23, 2022.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has embarked on a multi-nation Middle East tour aimed at reducing the tensions in the region. The top diplomat landed in Ramallah on Wednesday and met Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas for a one-stop solution to the war.

A joint action from Canada, the UK, Ukraine, and Sweden has taken place against Iran which was responsible for downing a civilian aircraft carrying 176 passengers. Iran's missile killed all 176 passengers mainly consisting of Canadians and Iranians on board.
