At least seven babies were killed following a massive fire at a children's hospital in Delhi's Vivek Vihar area on Saturday night, police said. There were a total of 12 newborns in the hospital, out of which one was already dead, six died after the fire incident, while the remaining five others were admitted to another hospital for treatment, the police said.

A massive fire broke out at a New Born Baby Care Hospital in Vivek Vihar, New Delhi, on Saturday (May 25) night. Out of 12 rescued children, 6 died, 1 is on a ventilator, and 5 are hospitalized.

Voting for seven constituencies has begun in the national capital, as part of the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Amidst the rising heatwave in the country, polling in Delhi began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm.
