The trust's functionaries have been assigned to distribute 'prasad' some distance from the temple under a new arrangement implemented a few days ago. Since January 25, 1986, when the lock of the Babri Masjid was opened, allowing for the worship of Lord Rama, 'prasad' has been distributed from there.

General trust secretary Champat Rai said, "The temple will be opened to worshipers in January 2024 following the installation of Ram Lalla sculptures in the shrine's sanctum sanctorum on the festival of Makar Sankranti."

The sixth Deepotsav will see attendance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 18 lakh clay lamps, fireworks, a laser display, and Ramlila performances will all be featured at the celebration. The diyas at Ram ki Paidi, which is close to the Saryu river, will be lit by over 22,000 volunteers.

Ayodhya resident has built a temple for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, placing a life-size idol of him inside, complete with bow and arrow and a halo around his head. The idol is clad in saffron robes.

Space would be provided for idols of prominent Hindu seers within the temple complex. Idols of main characters from the Ramayana period will also be part of the temple complex.
