Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested three men in Ayodhya hailing from Rajasthan. Shankar Lal Dusad alias Jajod, Ajit Kumar, and Pradeep Poonia are active members of the banned terror outfit Sikhs for Justice. US-based terrorist and SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun warned India of terror plots in Ayodhya.

During his visit to the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi listened to a scholar’s recitation of verses from the Kamba Ramayanam. It was at this very temple that Kamban first presented his version of Ramayana and won the hearts of the people.

PM Modi was clad in traditional Tamil attire where he wore 'veshti' (dhothi) and an angawastram (a shawl). Modi also took blessings from the temple elephant named 'Andal' on the premises who also played a mouth organ.

Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Sree Hanuman Swamy temple in Pangode, Thiruvananthapuram has narrated the tales of Ramayana. The beautiful paintings have been placed on the walls of the temple as part of the celebration. The temple is run by the Pangode military station.

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has declared a holiday for its employees across India on January 22, the day the Ram Lalla idol will be consecrated at the newly built Ram Mandir in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.

Ram Mandir inauguration: A specially-abled Uttar Pradesh devotee, Gaurav Tyagi, is stealing hearts for his courage.He is riding his wheelchair around 30 kms per day and is likely to reach Ayodhya on January 21. Tyagi's friends are also accompanying him, who take care of food and drinks during the journey.

Ram Mandir inauguration: The sacred consecration ceremony (Pran-Pratishtha) of Ram Lalla inside the temple is slated for January 22. Check how you can register online for darshan in Ayodhya Ram temple.

The consecration ceremony will begin at 12.20 pm and is expected to end at 1 pm. The temple is expected to open to the public the next day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the January 22 'pran pratishtha' – the ceremony to consecrate the idol.

The action comes in response to a complaint lodged by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), alleging that Amazon is misleading consumers by selling sweets under the guise of "prasad" from the yet-to-be-inaugurated Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The stock market will remain open from 9 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday and remain shut on Monday. The decision has come ahead of the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22.
