Amazon earlier announced new round of layoffs that are expected to affect 9,000 employees. The company has already fired over the 18,000 employees in layoffs announced in last November and in January. Layoffs are part of Amazon's plan to cut costs amid falling revenue.

As the name suggests, the smartphone comes with a new Prime Blue colour option and buyers of the smartphone via Amazon sale can get a 3-month Amazon Prime subscription for free. The company has not yet revealed the price of the new OnePlus 10R Prime Blue edition, however it is expected that it will be priced the same as the regular version.

Andy Jassy said Amazon had no such plans as to mandate its corporate staff members who work from home, to come back to office. “We don’t have a plan to require people to come back,” Jassy said. “We don’t right now. But we’re going to proceed adaptively as we learn," he added.

According to the source, the OnePlus 10T leaked picture depicts the moonstone black model of the next smartphone. The picture is also reminiscent of the OnePlus One design, which featured a sandstone finish with a distinct thick feel.

The company has joined hands with a Bengaluru based freight carrier, Quickjet Cargo Airline Private Ltd, for the service. They will use a Boeing 737-800 planes and transport shipments to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, Amazon said in a press release.

OnePlus 11 5G goes on sale: The base model of the OnePlus 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This variant costs Rs 56,999. The top variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 61,999.

Amazon has revealed that the company has planned to lay off 18,000 employees worldwide, including roughly 1,000 in India. The laid-off process in India has been started. The impacted employees will receive the support they require, such as severance money, health insurance, and other assistance.

The OnePlus 11R will be available for pre-order through Amazon and OnePlus Store. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone offers a 50MP camera and a 120Hz curved AMOLED display.

Amazon Prime Lite subscriptions are currently being tested in India.Since the price was raised to Rs 1499 for a year, Amazon Prime has been prohibitively expensive. Amazon is now testing a more cheap plan in India as a response to this.

The flagship phone from OnePlus will launch in India and other regions on February 7 and the new OnePlus 11 5G phone will be up for pre-order on the same day via Amazon. The e-commerce giant has published a teaser image on its platform, which confirms the pre-order date for the upcoming phone.
