Pakistan's Economic Coordination Council has now given its go-ahead to traders to negotiate with their counterparts on the Indian side to resume the import of sugar and cotton.

"We are convinced that durable peace and stability in South Asia is contingent upon resolving all outstanding issues between India and Pakistan, in particular, the Jammu & Kashmir dispute," Imran Khan said in a letter addressed to PM Modi dated March 29.
