A passenger punched a TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) inside the Maveli Express train after being asked for his ticket near Shoranur. Vikram Kumar Meena from Rajasthan was attacked by a passenger who was travelling without a ticket.
 

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: PM Narendra Modi on Monday volunteered for Seva at the Patna Sahib Gurudwara in Bihar ahead of his scheduled elections rallies in the state.

A video has surfaced showing a woman linked to an alleged kidnapping case involving Hassan MLA HD Revanna. In the video, she claims her recent absence was voluntary, spent at a relative's house, and not a kidnapping. She denies any misconduct by Revanna and associates and dismisses connections to a rumoured sex scandal, asking for privacy and peace.

It is reportedly said that the threats, sent via email, are currently under investigation as authorities working to identify the sender. This incident comes just 12 days after similar threats targetted over 150 schools in the Delhi-NCR region.

Two fishermen lost their lives when their fishing boat capsized after it collided with a ship off the coast of Ponnani in Malappuram district on Monday (May 13). Azhikkal natives Abdul Salam (43) and Gafoor (45) died in the mishap. 

Despite exhaustive efforts, including the review of several CCTV recordings and an extensive background check on Mahir, who hailed from Uttar Pradesh and had been residing at the mosque for eight years, no substantial leads had surfaced initially.

The ECI reported a total of 4,264 nominations filed for the 96 parliamentary constituencies, resulting in 1,717 candidates in the fray for Phase 4. Telangana recorded the highest number of nominations with 1,488, closely followed by Andhra Pradesh with 1,103 nominations spanning across 25 constituencies.

The Sikh community in Delhi held a massive bike rally on Sunday (May 12) in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).The rally was led by BJP's Sikh leader Majinder Singh Sirsa.
