“She Sells with a Smile”: Vegetable-Selling Grandma Goes Viral for Unique Selling Skills (Watch)

A video is going viral on social media showing a grandmother selling vegetables. She only speaks Kannada, yet she effortlessly conducts business with customers who do not understand Kannada. 

Netizens are impressed by her technique, praising her as an example of practical knowledge in action.

Manju Madivalar (manju_madivalar1) shared a video of her grandmother conducting business on Instagram, and it has gone viral. 

The video has already garnered over 21 lakh views. Despite not speaking Hindi, her grandmother successfully manages transactions using her wit and skills. 

Manju wrote that she felt very happy and proud to see grandmother’s remarkable technique gain such attention.

In the viral video, a person asks, “You don’t know Hindi. But how did you tell them the price of vegetables?” The grandmother responds by showing a stone weighing 500 grams and a 20 rupee note, indicating that half a kilogram of okra costs 20 rupees. 

Using simple gestures like this, she effortlessly conducts business with customers who do not understand Kannada, impressing everyone with her clever technique.

Manju, who shared the viral video, revealed that her grandmother is a resident of Vajrabandi in Yelaburga taluk of Koppal district. 

She often participates in the local Irakalgarh fair and sells vegetables with a smile, sometimes giving slightly more than the measured weight. 

Her friendly and cheerful approach allows her to conduct business successfully with everyone, leaving a lasting impression on customers.
