The Prayagraj Railway Division will operate over 150 special trains for Mauni Amavasya, exceeding the previous record of 85 trains during Kumbh 2019. This initiative aims to facilitate the travel of over 10 crore devotees expected to bathe in the Sangam, with color-coded ticketing and shelter arrangements also in place.

On the auspicious occasion of Mahakumbh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's government has approved major connectivity projects in Uttar Pradesh. In a historic cabinet meeting on the Triveni coast, the government granted in-principle approval for the 320 km long Vindhya Expressway and the 100 km Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway.

Spiritual leader Chidanand Saraswati hails Mahakumbh 2025 as the grandest celebration of Indianness, symbolizing the resurgence of Sanatan Dharma. He praised CM Yogi Adityanath for elevating the festival and lauded the arrangements, highlighting the global attraction and spiritual energy of the event.

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj of Juna Akhara has lauded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the grand and successful organization of Mahakumbh 2025. Swami Giri praised CM Yogi Adityanath, comparing him to two great rulers of ancient India, Harshvardhan and Vikramaditya. He remarked that Yogi Adityanath has carried forward the tradition of these great rulers into the modern era.

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet will convene a special meeting in Prayagraj on January 22nd, where significant proposals are expected to be approved. Following the meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath and the entire cabinet will participate in a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.

A fire caused by an LPG cylinder during cooking at the Mahakumbh Mela was quickly contained due to the fire brigade's rapid response and extensive fire safety preparations.

The Yogi government has launched an online system for procuring bonfire wood for Mahakumbh 2025. Devotees can easily locate firewood depots via Google, ensuring a warm and hassle-free experience. 

An Italian delegation led by Mahi Guru visited the Prayagraj Kumbh, sharing their spiritual experiences and admiration for Indian culture. The delegation recited religious verses, sang bhajans, and participated in rituals, expressing a deep appreciation for India's spiritual heritage.
