Karnataka: Clashes between two communities following WhatsApp message

Like the past, how rumours and news of WhatsApp had resulted in clashes and anti-social elements and communal forces using the situation to their advantage, a fake message of arrest of a person involved in riots resulted in a clash between youths of two communities.

Due to clashes, three persons were reportedly injured. The injured were sent to hospital for treatment.

The situation at Ratti Halli bus station turned violent as a result, police forces were deployed and curfew had been imposed.
