Jallikattu: 2 crushed to death, 20 injured after rooftop collapses

As hundreds of villagers climbed a house rooftop to watch Jallikattu, however it turned tragic

 

Jallikattu is a race in which a raging bull is chased by village youths to prove their bravery.

 

Following the incident, 8-year-old Meghashree died on the spot and 68-year-old Muni Balan died after he failed to respond to hospital treatment.

 

The incident was reported from Veppanapalli in Tamil Nadu and about 20 injured are receiving treatment.
