Farmers Stage ‘Rail Roko’ Protest in Tiruchirappalli Over Punjab Crackdown | Asianet Newsable

Farmers in Tiruchirappalli, led by farmer leader P. Ayyakannu, staged a 'rail roko' protest on the Cauvery Railway Bridge. The demonstration was held in response to the action on farmer leaders in Punjab, who were protesting over various demands. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and local police intervened to control the situation and clear the tracks.
