As April 24 marks the birth anniversary of Kannada film industry's first ever superstar Rajkumar, son and hat-trick hero, actor Shivarajkumar spoke exclusively to Asianet Newsable and said, “Work of Dr Rajkumar will always remain etched in our memory.”
Crediting his father for having better vision about life-changing cinema, Shivarajkumar said, "When you say it is Dr Rajkumar home banner as my mother is a producer, people will have expectations. They had great vision with respect to futuristic cinema at that time. His films have become memorable films on Indian screens."
Rajkumar had the sense to figure out if the film could become a success just by going through the screen play, the son said. Speaking about the legendary actor’s voice, Shivarajkumar said songs like Om Brahmananda Omkara, O Gulabiye, his chanting of the shloka in the film Om would always reverberate through every fans’ heart.
