Rampur: In view of the rising outbreak of coronavirus, a lockdown has been imposed across the country till April 14. Due to this, many people are stranded everywhere, some of whom have been placed in temporary quarantine centres by the administration. 

A woman from Nepal, who is one among the labourers stranded in Rampur district, has given birth to a child. The family and the district administration have named him COVID-19. The mother and the child are both healthy. The administration has provided proper treatment and care to both.

The woman and her husband wanted to make this moment memorable. Hence they named their baby COVID-19.
