Makeshift gym at Singhu protest site
Even as the protest intensifies, a 'gym ka langar' has sprung up at the Singhu border.
This makeshift gym caters to sportspersons who have joined the farmers in solidarity and those who wish to work out.
This open gym is equipped with dumbbells, weight plates, a bench, a rod and two holders. According to reports, some of the gym equipement was made from scratch in Delhi
Foot massage centre
Besides a gym, the protest site now also has foot massage centres.
International non-profit organisation Khalsa Aid has set up a foot massage centre in makeshift spaces for the protesting farmers. Altogether, some 25 machines have been installed so far, and more are on their way.
Amarpreet, managing director of Khalsa Aid India, told news agency ANI: "We are at Singhu border and we have taken initiative and set up a facility of foot massage for old farmers as they are protesting for a very long time and they must be tired."
Roti-making machine on site
A roti-maker machine, capable of churning out nearly 2000 rotis an hour, has also been spotted at the protest site.
The automated machine has been installed to ensure faster preparation of food for hundreds of farmers at the protest site. The machine has been brought on rent from Delhi.
There's even as pizza langar
Yes, there's a 'pizza langar' at the Singhu protest site.
Bhartiya Kisan Union (Rajewal) from Barmi and Boparai Kalan villages have started langar of pizzas for protesters, which they say will continue till the farm laws are repealed
