Although this is beneficial, it often leads to unintended turmoil, particularly because not all of the received media assets are valuable.

Well, users may prevent undesired media files from being automatically stored to the Gallery on their phone, either for all chats or just certain talks, owing to the platform's settings.

- Open WhatsApp on your device
- To access More Options, tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
- From the menu that drops down, select Settings.
- Visit Chats
