Nilekani emphasized that AI adoption will not be easier and will require the same effort, if not more. "AI doesn't mean it's going to be easier to do. It's going to take the same effort, if not more effort," he said.

The conference is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs. Coming back to Nilekani, he suggested that Indian firms must use their own data to get access to credit, which is called the account aggregator scheme.
