BJP MP and former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday alleged large-scale corruption under the current administration.

BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal made vulgar remarks over an alleged gold smuggling attempt by Kannada actress Ranya Rao and claimed he knew which ministers were involved in the case.

The suspended JD(S) MP was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) upon his arrival at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport early on Friday. The 33-year-old lawmaker, accused of sexually abusing multiple women, was taken to the CID office for questioning, according to SIT sources.
