Kerala's Finance Minister KN Balagopal presented Kerala 2025-26 Budget in the State Legislative Assembly on Friday, announcing a Rs 750 crore rehabilitation project for Wayanad disaster victims.
Balagopal emphasized Kerala’s financial growth, attributing it to a 70% increase in tax collection, despite the Centre’s reduction of the state’s share in the divisible tax pool.
The Economic Review 2024 and supplementary financial statement for 2024-25 will also be tabled, with a general discussion scheduled for February 10-12.
