BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao should ask AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala to form the government if he has woken up to his duties.
“Sasikala has the list of MLAs and MPs who support her. Whereas Paneerselvam has no such proof. How can the resignation letter which was accepted be withdrawn?” Swamy asked.

“The Governor should move a resolution in the Assembly and ask Sasikala to prove her majority through the confidence vote. With Panneerselvam just waiting for the accepted resignation to be withdrawn and with no list of supporters, it would mean that the Governor is playing politics if he doesn’t invite Sasikala to form a government.
